The SIM7 model will work on bands: 2,4,5,12,13,14,17,66,71
The SIM4 model will work on bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 25, 26, 29, 30, 41
As you can see, the SIM4 has more bands however, for North America (other than Sprint), you only need the bands that the SIM7 has.
The other bands that the SIM4 has are mainly made for other providers around the world
